We cast off cautiously and silently into the low light of a foggy Yellowstone morning. Soon enough we were dazzled by the beauty of the sun rising, the fog lifting and the lake appearing. When we walked our boats up the ankle-to-hip-deep river that connects two big lakes we felt intimate with the water. A beaver greeted us at our night’s campsite. The next day we paddled to a backcountry geyser basin under the gaze of watchful wildlife. These moments and more are captured in this four-minute slideshow of my original photos accompanied by music.
I invite you to join me in the quiet beauty of this wild land. And thanks for being a part of Love the Wild!
I write, speak, and photograph to protect wildlife and wild lands. My bestselling In the Temple of Wolves; its sequel, Deep into Yellowstone; and its prequel, The Wilds of Aging are available signed. My books are also available on Amazon unsigned or as eBook or audiobook.
